"One…" I say and I watch as he flashes out of my eyesight. My heart pounds in my chest. He's an Alpha. A hybrid. He can look after himself. Jasmine walks inside the kitchen and heads to the fruit basket. "Sorry about earlier," I apologise and she smiles. "It's okay, Luna. All newly mated wolves can become a little aggressive," She says as she cuts an apple slice and holds it to me. I take it off her. I take a bite out of it, chewing and then swallowing as I ask my next question, " Do you have a mate?" She smiles. It says it all. "I've been mated to him for two and a half years now," she says and I smile. "Bethany," I say and she looks up at me confused. I'm still sitting on the counter so I jump down from it. She's the same height as me, I could tell. "You call me Luna so instead call me Bethany," I say and she nods. "Is it weird that I really want to go and
