ELORA'S POV The ride was painfully quiet. No music, or any words shared between us, just the sound of Lucian tapping on his phone and the weight of his presence beside me. His scent filled the car, maddeningly distracting, but I forced myself to look out the window. Nora sat in the front seat, swinging her legs while she hummed to a song she heard from a movie titled Frozen. Then suddenly, she gasped. “Daddy! Mummy! Look what I found.” I turned just in time to see her holding a tube of lipstick and a lip gloss. A bright red lipstick? Definitely not mine. “It's Aunt Maya’s.” Nora chirped, too innocent to know what she had just revealed.
