Kelly’s POV I couldn't ignore him. The fact that he’s here without me telling him about my plans means he knew something’s going on and he didn’t tell me about it. I feel like he doesn’t want me to see my father and it confuses me. Why would he do this? Yes! I hated my father but he knew that he’s still my father. No matter how I hate him, I still care because he’s my flesh and blood. “What are you doing here, Klay?” I asked cautiously. He stared into my eyes intently, “I’m here to accompany you.” “To where?” “To your father.” I looked away for a second and shook my head before looking at him again, “How did you know that I want to see my father? You said he’s on vacation.” “I lied, Kelly.” I was shocked by his own confession. He lied? He lied to me about my father. Why? “I don’t understand why you had to lie, Klay. But I’m telling you now, I will never forgive you if something happens to my father.” “He doesn’t want me to tell you, Kelly. I don’t have a choice.” “Tell me about what?”
