"What opportunity? Marley," Gabby pulled her to a halt by her forearm, facing her and bending so she was forced to meet her eyes. "Aiden loves you. This is me, okay? Someone who has been around since literally the day you two met. He wouldn't throw almost a year of love away -- throw you away -- for a night with a bratty cheerleader." Marley curled and uncurled her fingers in her leather jacket pockets. "He saved her. At the coach's dinner." "And you saved him," Gabby replied gently. "Are you forgetting that?"
