Marley nodded. Her eyes roamed the room again before she settled for a booth next to a corner window. Wringing out her damp, stringy hair once she took her seat, Tammy placed a menu in front of her. "It's raining cats and dogs out there," the waitress marvelled, squinting out the window. "But then again, it's what I get for settling in Providence. Can I start you off with..." Behind Marley's back, the doorbell dinged again. Aiden. The waitress' eyes rounded as she popped her hip out against the edge of the table, watching his approach behind her.
