Marley could feel her heart beat just a little faster. "Hi," she whispered back, before Gabby's words came back to haunt her. And you never thought to wonder why that is? She quickly broke their eye contact to stare at the table again, cursing her stupid blush – as per usual. "Brought you something." In front of Marley's eyes appeared Aiden's fingers pushing the crackers and cheese towards her, the water bottle following. It only made her remember why she wasn't hungry in the first place, and her shoulders tensed. As if he could read her mind, Aiden continued to speak. "Now would you care to elaborate on why on Earth you would ever be bothering me?" Beside Marley, Gabby coughed to hide a laugh. While she subtly kicked her best friend under the table, Leo joined them, a bunch of goldfish crackers shoved in his mouth as he dumped his bag on the grass and jostled the table sitting down. "Lesson fucking learned not to tell a bunch of camp councilors with sticks up their asses
