I smiled as Samuel slept beside me, his arm wrapped protectively around me. I gently ran my fingers through his hair, I have to admit, I'm slightly jealous of his hair. It literally feels like the softest thing ever, maybe softer than a puppy's fur. Vincent told me that this baby may just be the key to bringing Samuel out of the darkness that he's slowly sinking into. Before he met Samuel's mother he was in a dark place himself, even after Samuel was born he was still able to stay away from that darkness. He told me he was determined to one day see his son, to explain to him what had happened. I was more than happy that Vincent was now living in the castle, my parents made it official today.
