Chapter 45

MIRIAM'S POV Just as Jerry had instructed I found myself in my room laying down on the bed with my eyes glued to the ceiling. I didn't know what I was looking at but I was just staring at it. Suddenly tears started dropping from my eyes. I thought maybe it was because I had stayed for a long time without blinking but at the end of the day it turned out that I had this lump in my throat that I couldn't let out. As soon as I found out that I had a burden, I started crying. I cried for a very long time and hoped I would cry myself to sleep as usual but this time was different. Since sleep was not forthcoming and my eyes could no longer let out its tears I walked into the bathroom and washed my face and then walked downstairs. I called Trish to come help me massage my feet and my back and she came up with me immediately. I didn't realise Daniel was walking behind us until we got to the room. Trisha tried to close the door but she couldn't because Daniel pushed it. That was when we
