Hudson's POV Hudson looked at his watch and cursed quietly. The pack meeting took too long. Now he might miss Christina's trial against Niall. "Drive faster," he told his driver. He loosened his tie as the black car moved through the city traffic. His wolf Lycaon was restless in his mind. "We should be there for her. She needs us." "I know," Hudson said. "I'm trying." The car had just reached the main road when Dominic spoke in his head through their pack connection. "Alpha, the trial ended. Christina won." Dominic's voice sounded relieved but also worried. "She left the courthouse with that lawyer, Finn Stone. They're going to the Nyx offices." Hudson's jaw tightened. "Change plans," he told the driver. "Go to the Nyx building downtown." The car turned into a different lane. Other drivers honked angrily. Hudson didn't care. He was thinking about Christina with Finn Stone.
