Anna POV 　　He held my hand when I took another step forward. My heart started to beat faster with every passing second. 　　“King Aiden.....?” I asked to gain his attention. The more he continued to look at her the more I became nervous. 　　“Hmm..?” He rubbed his eyes. 　　“Thank you for today.” I said. I was glad that he was there for me and didn’t allow Uncle Thaddeus go free. Even my cousins had thought I was the one who forced myself on him. 　　“Let us hope he would not try to lay his hands on you again because I will aim for the other leg.” My heart shuddered at his words. 　　When he raised his hand to my hair, I closed my eyes as he massaged it gently. Just as my eyes were shut closed, I opened them after some time to see him seated on the bed. 　　“Were you waiting for something?” He asked, teasingly. 　　“Waiting for what?” I maintained the small smile on my face as I walked to the couch to sit down. 　　“I will be back.” He said and stood up from the bed before heading outside the room.
