Anna POV Before I could react to what was happening, he fell on the ground. “King Aiden!” I walked towards him. Why was he spouting blood from his mouth? Was everything okay? Did the spell Esther used on him not work? I tried to wake him up but he closed his eyes and fell unconscious. “King Aiden!” I called out but there was no response. I blinked in confusion, trying to think of what might have caused this on him. I placed my hand on the heart of the necklace and called out Esther’s name thrice. When she appeared before me, my blood boiled with so much anger. King Aiden was right about this woman. Was she planning to kill him? Before I could reached out for her, she raised her hand up and I began to levitate from the ground. “I didn’t hurt him, Anna.
