Suddenly, mom raised her arm and slapped dad's face while crying. Her anger and her pain was not wrong. "How could you?" She yelled at him and grabbed him from his collar. I sighed and stopped her as she buried her face against my chest and started to sob. "Dad, why didn't you tell us?" I asked him. Then he looked at me and shook his head. Seyah and I could have married if he told us the truth. "I didn't have the courage" he just simply spoke as he walked away. I watched him leave and sighed. How can I just protect her now? I want nothing but to see her smile again. I hugged mom and waited for a while. My heart was aching and I had no words to describe my pain. Then mom broke the hug and looked at me. She raised her trembling hands and caressed my face. "I'm sorry, I.. didn't know" I forcefully smiled at her and nodded.
