Chapter 27

Katrina’s POV "No, that can't be true. There must be a way to stop this. I won't let this happen." I start shaking violently before I fall to the ground. My mind starts spinning and I feel my eyes closing. I can hear someone yelling at me in the distance, but I can't make out what they're saying before the darkness takes over. I can feel my brain throbbing painfully in my skull which is what wakes me up from my haunting dreams. Visions of Harris or Leo lying on a ground with blood pouring out of them kept me from having a decent rest. I couldn't open my eyes though. It felt like I was stuck there in time. Each dream was the same. Someone would go to hit me, but then either Harris or Leo would jump in front of me, and I watched as their body would fall to the ground, but there was nothing I could do to help them.
