Leroy mumbled something, and Zoe's gaze was filled with curiosity. "Leroy, what are you whispering?" Upon hearing her question, he immediately shook his head. Who would have thought that they managed to pull through in the end?" Zoe was a bit surprised by this and even Samuel would occasionally bring this up. It had become a typical case in their circle. After hearing this, Leroy could only nod in acknowledgment. Meanwhile, Scarlett dialed the phone with a nervous heart. She was contemplating how to start the conversation. Just the thought of Matthew being on the other end instantly made her feel pressured. After some time, the phone was answered. "Scarlett, why are you suddenly calling me? When is Dr. Olson planning to come over?" Matthew thought that Leroy had already agreed to help them. However, Scarlett shook her head and sighed. "Matthew, this is a bit tricky. It seems that Leroy doesn't intend to visit in person." After these words, she fell into silence. She anxiously waited and wondered what would happen next. Sorry to trouble you, Scarlett." His attitude surprised Scarlett and even left her confused. She hadn't expected this kind of reaction at all. "Matthew, don't take it to heart. Leroy can be a bit stubborn at times. I'll try to talk to him again." She tried to persuade Matthew again, but he interrupted. "I understand what you're thinking. We were indeed in the wrong about this matter, so let us handle it ourselves." "Also, I've already spoken to the people in the Myer family about the previous matter we discussed.
