Chapter 12

My Master watched the King as he spoke and observed him as Master stood there silently. The anxiety and desperation flooded off the King in a wave of emotion that could be felt across the Throne room. After several moments, Master smiled and said, “We accept. Show us to our rooms.” The King was happy to hear that from Master as a huge smile spread across his face. Although, Jonathan, my father, remained quiet at his side as he watched every move I made.  “Thank you very much! I´m glad we can work together and I can assure you, you won´t regret your decision.” King stood up and went to shake my Master’s hand. Master only smiled and said, “It will be my pleasure in the end.” I knew what he meant it wasn´t the payment he will receive, but finally getting revenge on the people who hurt me.
