Chapter 44 Do You Like Me?

Xavier's gaze was icy as he stared at her, "Put it down, my patience is extremely limited." Jennifer shook her head, pulling back a few inches, her eyes rimmed red with hurt. "Why did you have to kiss me? Do you like me?" Xavier's lips were tightly pressed together, the lines around his mouth tense. He didn't speak, but his gaze was firmly locked on her. Jennifer looked serious, "Don't you know that only lovers are allowed to kiss? Xavier, I don't like kissing men I don't love. Please respect me!" No sooner had Jennifer's words left her lips than a chilling frost seemed to envelop Xavier's deep amber eyes behind his glasses. He roughly pulled Jennifer's arm away from her lips, and with his other hand, he gripped her chin. Leaning down, he forcefully kissed her red lips. Don't give her any room to avoid it. But was this really a kiss? It was clearly tearing, gnawing, and punishing!
