Sebastian remained silent for a long time. An eerie stillness settled in the air. After a while, he let out a soft laugh. His voice was calm and as refined as ever. However, Dennis knew him well. He sensed that this was a warning sign of Sebastian's imminent anger. Sebastian said softly, "How is that possible? I asked Whit myself. She told me that Trace was rescued and that she was lying in another ward for recovery. Tell me, which one of you is lying?" Dennis was so frightened by his tone that he didn't dare respond at first. Seconds and minutes ticked by. In the end, he couldn't withstand the crushing pressure. Trembling, Dennis shook his head. "Mr. Halston, I've worked by your side for more than a decade. How could I possibly fabricate a lie to deceive you? Besides, this is something anyone could verify with a simple inquiry. There's no reason for me to lie to you at all."
