Chapter 46: Thank You for Coming Into My Life

Piper’s POV After a few days in the hospital, the doctor finally allowed me to go home. I sat on the edge of the bed, enjoying my breakfast, while Jay tidied up our things. As I stuffed pieces of fruit into my mouth, my eyes stared at him. Was I dreaming? Am I a Cinderella? I was not a Cinderella. I’ve had bad things happen to me in the past because of Megan. If she hadn’t set me up, maybe I would never have gotten to know Jay, let alone become his future wife. Everything was painful in the beginning, but now Jansen and I can finally enjoy the happiness of being a complete family together with Jay and Jessie. Thank God. I’m not alone anymore. I have a man to keep me company. “You’re daydreaming. What are you daydreaming about?” Jay asked, breaking my daydream. And it turned out that I bit the fork I had used to eat fruit. I quickly took the fork out of my mouth and replied, “I’m daydreaming about the past.” Jay closed the luggage bag, then put both of our sweaters on the sof
