The boy smiled back, before pecking her warm cheek and running out of the room. "Does my baby sister have a crush?" Lucas faked a stern look, although he thought the whole scene to be pretty cute. "Maybe he's my prince. Do you think so?" Mary Jane smiled in between coughs. "I thought I was your prince?" Lucas asked, while pulling her pink covers further up her small body. "Now it's Maddox, but don't tell him yet." Mary Jane spoke enthusiastically about the young werewolf boy. Lucas chuckled and slipped the book back onto her shelf. "Are you going to tell him next week, when we go to the park together?" Mary Jane's grin widened if that was even possible. "I think so. Daddy said we can only go to the park once I'm better. Planting a chaste kiss on her heated forehead, Lucas smiled down at her. "Then you get healthy fast." Mary Jane nodded, pulling her large beast pillow into her arms.
