Nancy " He won't take you out of here. " Keith roared. His arms hugged me tightly, almost hurting. Keith's roar filled the room. His blue eyes, which I like so much, have now turned into a frightening black shadow. I carefully raised my hand, placed it on his cheek, and held it gently. If Keith were my mate, then my touch would immediately calm him down, but seeing that I was not my touch had no effect, it would only make his dark eyes meet mine. As I stared at the fewer holes at the bottom of Keith's eyes, I couldn't help feeling a trace of fear crawling up my spine.
