Chapter 28

"Hey, we stopping here?" Marshall asked, slowing the car down. Stella finally snapped out of it, glanced out the window, and nodded. "Yeah, just drop me over there." "Wait here," she said when the car stopped. Marshall wasn't sure why she wanted him to wait, but before he could ask, Stella hopped out and crossed the road to the other side. Some cars zoomed past, and she disappeared from sight. About ten minutes later, she showed up again, this time standing on the opposite end of the crosswalk, holding two cups of coffee. She checked both ways, waiting for the traffic to clear. Marshall couldn't take his eyes off her. He only snapped back to reality when he heard a tap on his car window. Rolling it down, Stella handed him one of the coffee cups. Marshall took the coffee and said softly, "By the way, I'm Marshall." Stella was surprised for a second, then smiled, saying, "I'm Celeste." Meanwhile, Aurora couldn't believe it when she heard that Marshall had a girlfriend. "Keegan! Mar
