Dorothy slowly bent down towards Credence and pressed her cheek to his. Cold tears streamed down his gaunt face, and slowly trickled into Credence's mouth. The taste of her tears were slightly different from seawater. While it was salty, there was a bitter note to it. Her tears slowly entered Credence's throat and flowed into his stomach. This stimulated him to move his fingers. When she saw Credence move his index finger, Dorothy's heart began to beat wildly in her chest. With tears in her eyes, she let out a weak smile and looked at him in surprise. "Credence, are you awake?" She asked softly.
