I was halfway through my breakfast when Ronan’s question made me choke on my food. I coughed, grabbing a napkin as I tried to compose myself, my eyes watering. Did he catch Caden last night? Did he see us? My heart raced as I shot a quick glance at Caden, who was seated across from me, his expression unreadable.
