Chapter 44

Adrian has his back turned towards me and the wolf eyes me pleadingly at me to help him. I simply nod and jump on Adrian's back. The beast roars loudly at the intrusion and shakes his body uncontrollably to shake me off his body but I manage to crawl towards his head and clutch his ears tightly to balance myself. The minute he stops shaking I stretch my hand and cover his eyes while I pull the lower half of my body to my right and use gravity to throw Adrian off his balance. When he still manages to stand, I give a low blow using my knees on his paw and this works. He falls on the ground with me on his side. I lay down on the ground breathless and tired. I know I can't fight Adrian in my human form. Hell I can't fight Adrian even in my wolf form. He is far too strong! But the beast is relentless.
