He sat on the floor with his back against the lounge flipping through pages of notes. His hair was a little mussed from where he kept running his hands through it. The top few buttons of his shirt were undone and a tempting triangle of skin and dark hair was visible. He looked tired and ever so slightly rumpled and it was a good look on him. Emma had changed out of her suit and into a comfy t-shirt dress, but Jake hadn’t bothered. She sipped her wine and then made a decision.
