Dylan could not help but sigh at this. The truth was, he sympathized greatly with Scott. He could understand how it felt to be infatuated with someone. Dylan followed Scott into the courtyard. Meanwhile, Dominic and John had already returned from their conversation. Upon seeing Scott, Dominic approached and said graciously, "Mr. Lawson, you're finally here. I was thinking you'd gotten too caught up in your work and couldn't make it anymore." With that, he swiftly handed Scott a drink, who took it from him and replied, "I wouldn't miss you and Gwendolyn's reception for the world." Dylan grinned at this. Dominic seemed pleasantly surprised to hear this. He replied hastily, "I'm very honored, Mr. Lawson! Gwendolyn and I are both extremely grateful to have you here tonight, Mr. Lawson. It's our honor to host you!" Gwendolyn could not stand this anymore. She took Naomi's arm and whispered, "Naomi, let's go somewhere else."
