Claire's POV I drifted between sleep and dreams for what felt like forever. My body felt like it was floating on clouds, weightless but somehow stuck in place. In my dreams, I saw her, my baby, running toward me with tiny arms stretched out. Stella and I turned into our silver wolf forms, racing through moonlit forests while my daughter followed, her laugh like little bells in the wind. After two days of this fog, my mind finally cleared. The white around me came into focus. "You're awake?" A gentle male voice cut through my confusion. I turned my head to see Klein smiling softly at me. Joey sat beside him, her eyes puffy and red from crying. For a moment, I couldn't tell if this was another dream or real life. The white walls, the hospital smell, the beeping machines. I was definitely in a hospital. I sat up fast, grabbing Klein's arm. "My baby? Where's my baby?" Joey quickly spoke up. "She's fine, Claire. She's just in the NICU because she came early. She's in an incubator right now.
