Claire's POV Was this his room? Did he really ask Adam to bring me here? At that moment, Adam, Lucius's Beta, explained,"I apologize, Mrs. Watson.It was Alpha Lucius who instructed me to bring you here." Mrs. Watson? So Adam had known about my relationship with Lucius all along. It seemed Joey's guess was correct. Everything had been orchestrated by Lucius. "There's a hot spring outside. You can use it if you'd like. If you need anything, just call customer service directly. I'll take my leave now," Adam said politely, preparing to exit the room. "Wait..." I stopped him. "Do you have any other requests?" Adam paused in her tracks. "Um... Where is he?" I glanced around, certain that Lucius wasn't present. "Alpha Lucius is in the hot spring," Adam replied courteously before departing. After Adam left, I tested the large bed.The mattress was neither too soft nor too firm,just right.
