“She killed them with her hands before starting the fire to make it seem like an accident.”
I froze the moment he uttered those words.
“How?” I whispered, fear stilling me.

“An argument happened between them before that.
I have no idea at what point the loud shouts began, which the neighbors had claimed to hear.
But after that, she lit the fire burning her parent’s body to the ground,” he finished, flinching slightly as though he was living in the moment.
“Why wasn’t she caught?
Why didn’t they carry out any investigations on her?” I asked anxiously.
