Xavier's POV “Hurry up, Aurora! We are running late, please.” I yelled as I glanced at my wristwatch. I hated showing up late at events, especially a get-together that I was part of the special guests list. I glanced at the stairway, determined to walk into Aurora's room if she didn't show up in five minutes. “Come on, how long is it going to take you to put on your gown?” She yelled a response. “I'm done. Give me a minute.” I huffed, tapping my feet. “That's what you said a few minutes ago, and you’ve spent almost an hour there!” I heard her giggle, and a door closed, but no signs of her or the maiden helping her with her outfit. She was going to make me late, and I would have to apologize to the host. Something I hated doing! “I'm here. I'm sorry for keeping you waiting. The zipper got stuck and…” she stopped at the top of the stairway and smiled. “What do you think? Beautiful or too much?” I whistled, unable to stop myself. She wore a black, low cut gown, which revealed her neck ado
