Chapter 26

Irene’s POV “Where the fuck is she?” I growled under my breath as I stormed deeper into the office. My instincts first took me to the storage room. Maybe she had got to steal something from there. I pushed the door open and saw that the storage room was empty. “Where could she be?” I sighed as my shoulder dropped. I knew she was still here. Her scent had confirmed that with me as it was. I got out of the storage room and I drew deep breaths with my eyes closed as I decided to follow her scent. It was not easy, seeing that the office was quite dusty. I reached my mother’s meeting room. I could perceive that she was in there. The door was slightly closed and I could hear sounds coming from inside. I pushed the door open and I stormed in. There she was, sitting on my mother’s chair as she tried to open the cabinet. “What are you doing here?!” I yelled at her. Bella jumped in fear, the wrench she was trying to use in opening the cabinet fell down, making a clattering sound. Thank goddess s
