Irene’s POV “Cassie, I told you I needed some space, right?” I asked her as I took her hand and pulled her inside. My heart was still heaving from the discovery. I didn’t want to bring Cassie into this, it seemed dangerous and until I knew exactly how dangerous this was. Cassie pulled at my hand, when we got into the sitting room. “You were gone for so long.
