I suddenly felt someone take my physical body in their arms, the usual sparks igniting inside me that made my body feel warm no matter how cold I felt. I tried to find him in this darkness, but all I could see was just that....darkness. I tried to scream, only for my voice to fail me and merely come out as a hoarse whisper. The tears continued streaming down my face and I just couldn't believe this was how it was going to end. So many faces appeared on my mind all at once like if I was seeing a collage of some sort. Alex, Ethan, Sarah, my dad, and even Claudia appeared on my mind. The last one that appeared made my heart stop for a brief moment, but it wasn't until I realized that my heart had indeed stopped. I could feel myself slipping, but I didn't fight it this time.
