"Don't mention it," he said with a genuine smile, which caught me by surprise because I never saw him that way. "I just wish you were a werewolf. This injury would've been gone by now." Marcus had informed me in a previous night that werewolves had the ability to heal a lot faster than humans. And by a lot I mean that the second they get scratched, the scratch mark would ultimately disappear within seconds. It did depend on the size of the wound, though. One like mine might last a few hours. Unfortunately for me, it wouldn't be fully healed for a couple days, maybe even a week. Sarah came just then with a black t-shirt of mine that I barely wore. She handed it to Alex who urged me to slide off the bra strap. Wincing at the small amount of pain the movement caused, I pulled it down as much as I could before he lifted up my arm, cautious not to cause anymore pain than I already was in. With an agile hand, he wrapped it securely above the wound, making sure that
