Phoebe looked hurt. "Tyler, don't you think you're being…?" she trailed off. "What have you been teaching him?" Tyler asked coldly. He sat still in his chair, his expression unreadable. Phoebe shrank back. "I… I…" He tilted his head to the side, raising an eyebrow. "What?" Phoebe knew what he was probably thinking. She just hadn't expected him to find out, especially not this way. And she had no idea where he got his information from. Tyler's eyes stayed locked on her face as her panic grew. Finally, she spoke, her voice shaky. "I… I found out about that woman's relationship with Lucian. I thought she was trying to take your son from you, so that's why I said those things." Tears filled her voice. "I only said those things to Lucian because I was looking out for you!" "You know exactly what I hate most," Tyler said, his tone icy. "I can't stand people like that being anywhere near Lucian. I made sure you knew my rules the day I hired you as his tutor, didn't I?" Phoebe trembled
