Olivia sat in the car, gazing straight ahead with a faint, almost ironic smile on her lips. She had never imagined that even after returning, taking Lucian with her would still be out of reach. When she arrived at the hotel, she paused at the door, taking in the emptiness of the room. After a moment, she stepped inside and began to pack her belongings.
