Evelyn's POV Liri drummed her nails against the table. "Who exactly are we waiting for?" she demanded. Her patience was clearly running out. "Leon Robinson," I replied coolly, watching her reaction. Just as I expected, Liri's expression shifted. A flash of anticipation crossed her eyes, though she quickly tried to hide it. Her body language told me everything I needed to know. Despite her public claims about Leon being her fiancé, something was definitely off. I didn't call her out on it. Instead, I sat back and waited. The blonde woman and her friends were growing uncomfortable. Their designer outfits and perfect hair couldn't hide their anxiety. Their husbands might have money, but they clearly cared more about appearances than anything else. Being caught at a police station would cause trouble at home.
