Before he could respond, Skylar yanked him away and glanced at the powered-down equipment. "Take him away," Skylar ordered, and his two subordinates moved toward Nickson. Hearing that, Nickson attempted to explain. "We're all from the same department, buddy. Which division are you in? I'll check in with your boss. This is a restricted case, and you can't just step in without special authorization." Skylar glanced at him. "Don't talk to me so casually. We're not in the same group. From the way you're speaking, it sounds like you know every chief in the division." With the Malones' support, Nickson wasn't worried about being investigated.
