A few hours after lunch, school was finally over and I was making my way toward the parking lot where Lucas was already waiting for me. I hadn't been able to stop thinking about the conversation Lucas and I had with James over lunch. I felt so guilty having to lie to him. It felt wrong to keep this from him.
