Chapter 7

I ran behind Evan who was running. He was ahead of me but that wasn't a problem. I was always faster than him so I could catch up easily. I'm faster than any wolf when I'm in my human form but Evan wasn't so I grabbed him by the wrist and pulled him as I ran. He stumbled, but quickly got used to the speed and was able to keep up. I gasped as we entered the forest. The thick canopy of trees made it so it was almost pitch black, but thanks to my enhanced vision, I was able to manage getting past the trees. I ran faster as I heard heavy crunching of leaves from the wolf that was behind us. The running lasted for a good ten minutes before I finally stopped to gasp for air. My lungs took in the oxygen greedily. I listened closely to my surroundings, making sure that we were no longer being followed. "Norah-" "Shh!"
