"Is this line for Dr. Byrd?" Leo asked, sensing something was off. "Dr. Byrd only handles complex and critical cases," the staff member explained. "This is a critical case. I need Dr. Byrd to take a look," Leo insisted. "Sir, the doctors currently seeing patients are Dr. Byrd's personal disciples. They are highly skilled. Start with them—if they cannot help, only then will you be eligible to see Dr. Byrd. Do you understand?" the staff member clarified. "Fine," Leo agreed reluctantly, realizing he had no choice but to comply. The line in front of Leo moved slo
