The Vote

(Anna) The decision-making meeting for the Carol Industries was being held today. Dressed up in a moss green silk blouse with a tie in front and a pencil skirt with high heels, I was ready to take everyone on. Today was the day the vote for the next CEO of Carol Industries would be cast and although quite a few members of my pack had sworn allegiance to me, it still could go in the favour of either Ruby or me. “Are you sure about doing this alone?” Asher asked as he parked the car in the underground parking lot and faced me with deep concerns lining his ruggedly handsome face. “Yes!
