I let go of her waist, but only because I needed to open the door for her. Once inside the truck, I fiddled with the radio a bit before turning it down so that it was just a quiet lull in the background. I wanted to be able to hear what she said when she spoke. "So, where are you taking me, Lover Boy?" She questioned, still looking out the window as the trees and asphalt passed by quickly. "One of my buddies told me there's an incredible barbeque place about twenty minutes from campus, so I thought we'd check it out." I answered, my mouth salivating at the prospect of food.
