The doorbell rang early the next morning. His Majesty has signed the order—the hearing begins this Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the Royal Court. You are required to appear as a key witness.” I took the folder, my heart beating faster. The day had finally come. “I’ll be there,” I said, my voice trembling slightly with emotion but steady nonetheless. The Secretary-General adjusted his glasses. “A car will be sent to pick you up. All you need to do is testify truthfully about what happened back then. Also, Frank will be present in court, but security will be arranged to ensure your safety throughout.” I nodded. After he left, I immediately opened the folder. Inside, along with the summons, was a detailed outline of the testimony—highlighting
