“Sure,” the Saint said, “Zayn, your action will decide if you and your mother live.” His remark was made with a profound tone. Zayn nodded strenuously while his gaze turned sharp as well. His eyes met Ezra’s, and he could clearly see the ghastly, murderous intent in Ezra’s eyes that seemed to almost engulf him whole. Despite how powerful he was, he inevitably sensed the piercing cold from Ezra for a brief moment.
