Damien's POV I sprinted up the drive as fast as my legs could carry me, refusing to shift into my wolf. I didn’t have a spare set of clothes, and I wasn’t about to ruin the ones I was wearing. Honestly, I thought we would be in and out by now. I had not expected this much resistance. I might still be young, but the truth hit me hard: my lack of recent training was catching up with me. My legs were already burning, and I was losing momentum when two blurs flanked me, one on each side. Before I could react, my legs were swept out from under me.
