Chapter 1105
"The situation on Leafdelle is complicated. You shouldn't have come." Hesper's expression looked complicated. "But since you're here and have gotten into the Savatier estate, there are a lot of eyes on you. It'll be even riskier if we send you out now."
Camille and Sherese exchanged looks while Hesper looked at Rickard, who was behind her. "Let's just keep them here for now and send them out later on."
Rickard snapped out of his thoughts and nodded. "Alright."
Sherese had mixed emotions when she heard she would stay at the mansion. When she felt for her ID in her pocket, she realized her pocket was empty; her heart dropped.
She had gotten distracted seeing someone she never got to meet before, so she didn't even realize the card she always brought around was no longer in her pocket.
Noticing Sherese's expression, Camille turned to her. "What's wrong?"
Sherese didn't hide her expression, as Hesper and Rickard weren't paying attention to her. "The card is gone. I think it's at the hotel… We can't let anyone see it."
It was the ID of Brigette, who had gone missing.
Realizing the importance of the card, Camille said, "I'll go back and get it for you."
"No, I'll get it myself."
The whispering caught Hesper's attention. When she looked over, Camille and Sherese toned down their actions. Camille said, "I'm related to Cheney, so it's easier for me to move around."
Even though she didn't want to admit it, Camille made sense. It wasn't a good idea for her to go around, so it would be much safer for Camille to do it. She agreed.
Hesper asked for the guest room to be cleared out for the two of them. Camilly said, "I left something at the hotel, so I'm going back to get it. It should be quick. I won't cause any trouble."
Seeing the urgency in Camille's expression, Hesper gave her the ID used by the helpers; after trying to let them stay, there was no reason not to grant them a little bit of freedom. "You can get in and out of the estate with this."
Camille looked hesitant as she held the card in her hand. "Thanks."
She left the estate after that. Camille knew how important the ID was and how much it meant to Sherese, more than anyone.
Moreover, Sherese was right. They couldn't let anyone see that card.
"I hope I'm not too late…"
After she left, Hesper's eyes darted around as she thought. She went to Sherese's room and knocked twice on the door. The door was soon opened. Sherese didn't seem surprised to see her.
"Come in."
Hesper walked into the room, but before Sherese said anything, she said, "How are you related to Rickard?"
