Chapter 1106
Sherese's pupils constricted and Hesper naturally caught that. It confirmed her speculation. "You know you can't lie to me easily. You're related to Rickard. Do you know Brigette?"
Hearing her getting warmer and warmer with her guesses, Sherese gave a sad chuckle. Hesper wasn't just hard to lie to, she got everything right. Sherese couldn't even think of anything to say.
Technology was so advanced now that even if she denied it, since they were now at the Savatier estate, it would only take a few days to get results for a DNA test. There was no point in lying.
"Rickard and I are related, and there's more." Sherese paused, then after a long while, she finally said, "I'm his sister. We share the same set of biological parents."
"What?"

Meanwhile, Camille arrived at the hotel.
Since Cheney brought them over the previous day, she didn't know the hotel's exact location. Fortunately, she paid attention to the hotel's name and finally found it.
"Hello, ma'am." Camille walked over to the front desk. "We left an ID in room 8304 when we checked out this morning. Did anyone see it while cleaning up?"
The front desk smiled. "Please give me a moment. I'll check."
"Alright."
After a few minutes, the lady said, "We did find it. I'll bring you upstairs to get it."
Camille sighed with relief when she heard that, then the lady continued, "When the housekeepers saw it, they thought you left it intentionally because it looked like an old one. Can I ask who the owner of the ID is?"
Camille became alert but realized the receptionist probably didn't have a lot of power. If she didn't answer her, she might not give the card back to her, so she made something up.
"It belonged to my deceased mother, so I bring it everywhere."
"I'm sorry to hear that."
The lady was sorry. They soon arrived at the room and she took out a key to open the safe, then took out the ID.
"Here."
Camile checked to make sure it was the one Sherese left behind and was relieved, so she smiled. "Thank you."
"Don't mention it. It's part of my job." The lady pointed in a direction. "There's the elevator. I have something I must attend to. Could you find your way back downstairs?"
Camille wasn't comfortable with service that was too good, so she was glad that the lady wouldn't follow her. She nodded and walked toward the elevator.
When the doors opened, they revealed a classy man already inside. Camille froze when she saw his face; it was rare to see someone so good-looking in real life.
He didn't look too bad compared to Rickard.
"Going down?" The man's voice was deep.
Camille snapped back to herself and nodded. "Yes, first floor."
The elevator wasn't narrow but while the two stood inside, it felt inexplicably cramped. Camille was probably feeling uneasy because of how strong the man's presence was.
