Chapter21: Alex

Alex I wake up fucking boiling hot but surrounded by the most incredible scent and it doesn't take me long to realize the reason why. Emma is sleeping on top of me, her legs to either side of my body with her head tucked under my chin, and it's the best fucking feeling in the world. She slept on me like this in the hospital after the attack and it felt incredible then but it feels even better now. Maybe it's because of how much we have progressed since then or maybe it's because I don't try to deny how I feel about her anymore.
