It was such a perfect day today. The sky was gold and honey as the sun dipped below the hills. The scent of jasmine floated in the breeze, mingling with the faint scent of Damien's cologne—amber and warmth, a scent that had begun to feel like home.
I stood on the grass in a flowing, ivory gown Damien had chosen for me himself, the satin catching light in a way that made even the photographer gasp. Around us, the garden was in full bloom—roses, lilacs, and pale violet orchids coiling through white trellises. Everything was perfect.
"Just like that, Luna," the photographer cooed, snapping away. "Turn your chin slightly—yes, beautiful! And Alpha, if you could just... Ah, perfect! Hold her waist like that."
Damien's hand slid around me with ease, warm and firm. His thumb brushed a slow circle into my side. "You’re blushing," he murmured, leaning close.
I shot him a glare and whispered back, "Stop whispering things like that, we’re in public."
